Welcome to my website. I'm Monika Kroczak, super-busy working mother of two based in Buckinghamshire. My early Interior Design education and background has evolved over the years, using my creative talents to get well-involved with all thing arty. I work alongside my partner in our workshop and love to restore and re-purpose furniture as well as running workshops for adults and children. I can turn my hand to all sort of arts and crafts and like nothing more than to share my skills and knowledge.

I love to upcycle vintage, old and forgotten pieces of beautiful furniture - repairing, painting and transforming each piece, so that they can continue to be loved.
I offer furniture painting, upcycling, repairing existing furniture into something fresh and new.
I take commissions, and can revive your existing items into something beautiful.

When I am not painting furniture I like to do various crafts especially over the Christmas period. I love to work with oyster shells and reclaimed pallet wood but find inspiration almost everywhere.
My intention is to share my knowledge which is why I offer seasonal workshops plus one-to-one or one-to-two furniture painting workshops.

It is amazingly satisfying to transform old furniture into something new and beautiful and relevant.
I use various techniques and mediums and just high-quality paint and finishes products.
If you have some practical, solid furniture that just doesn't express your style anymore, or maybe you have an heirloom that you want to restore and update, I’m happy to take on a painting commission no matter how big or small.

I have bought two pieces from Monika in the past year. The first was a bedside cabinet with beautiful floral decopatch drawers and a vibrant yellow veneer. It cheers up the space no end. The second was a commissioned chest of drawers for my twelve year old daughter who worked with Monika to choose the colour scheme and design. Monika guided us through the process, allowing my daughter free creative expression but also advising where necessary as to which combinations might look best. The end result was an exquisite piece of furniture, full of character, and one that will be treasured for many years to come. The paintwork and decorative features are robust enough to survive a lot of wear and tear and Monika's attention to detail is second to none. It's one of our favourite things in the house.

Monika transformed my furniture into French country style within weeks and the results were incredible! Starting from a large dining table with six chairs, through a TV table and finally a pair of chic chairs for bathrooms, my apartment changed into the style I have always dreamed of!
